Vegetables are High in Protein to Get Slim Body.

One way to get slim body is to eat vegetables diligently. Unfortunately, many consider vegetables less able to meet the daily nutritional needs of the body, such as proteins.

When talking about protein, we usually will not think about vegetables. In fact, there are also vegetables rich in these important nutrients.

Nutritionist Emily Gilbert, R.D. in Women’s Health, Monday (10/30/2017) writes about any vegetables that have the highest protein content.

But it must be remembered, “Plant proteins are incomplete proteins, meaning they do not contain all the necessary amino acids,” says Gilbert.

To get all the amino acids your body needs, make sure you combine the six healthy vegetables below with whole grains:

1. Peas

Half a cup of peas contains 3.5 grams of protein.

2. Spinach

You will get three grams of protein from half a cup of spinach.

3. Baked potato

Medium size of potatoes contain three grams of protein. Baking potatoes is the best way to eat them.

4. Broccoli

Broccoli is not only rich in acids (2.6 grams per half cup), broccoli is also rich in protein. One serving of broccoli contains two grams of protein.

5. Corn

Although technically corn is a grain, but still we can classify as vegetables. Half a cup of grain of corn contains two grams of healthy protein.

6. Mini cabbage

Mini cabbage is a rich source of protein. Each half cabbage contains two grams of protein, along with 247 mg of potassium, and 110 micrograms of vitamin K.
